Writer reveals cameos

Jordan and Cilla Black are reportedly set to make cameo appearances in ITV1 sitcom Benidorm.

Katie Price will stretch herself to play a chavvy British holidaymaker who likes to ‘get them out for the lads’, according to show creator Derren Litten, while Cilla will play an ageing swinger.

Litten told the Mirror: ‘We’ve been in touch with her people and offered her a role playing a completely chavvy Brit abroad, getting them out for the lads and lying by the pool. She probably won't have to do too much acting. It will be more sunbathing and bikini action.’

Meanwhile, 66-year-old Cilla will ‘ham it up in a basque and suspenders, all the works’, Litten said.

A one-off special of Benidorm will air in the autumn, with a fourth series due next year – but without Johnny Vegas, who has now left the show.
