US duo planning TV show

Acclaimed American double act The Pajama Men are developing a British TV show based on their award-winning live work.

Shenoah Allen and Mark Chavez, who won the Barry Award at last year’s Melbourne comedy festival, are working on the script with Kenton Allen, the former creative head of BBC comedy.

Mighty Boosh director Paul King is also involved in the project for Allen’s production company Big Talk, which previously made Spaced and Black Books.

The Pajama Men’s latest live show Last Stand To Reason, which is being performed at the Soho Theatre next month, revolved around a massacre on passenger train, with characters including heroes, housewives and venom-vomiting demons.

The duo are also developing an American TV project with Second City Entertainment.
