Old men behaving badly
Neil Morrissey wants to bring back his Nineties sitcom Men Behaving Badly.
He said: ‘There is nothing set in stone but I am interested and have heard Martin Clunes talk about it.
‘We are all busy but, hopefully, we will have time to talk to see if there is an inkling of whether everyone wants to do it,’ he told the Richmond & Twickenham Times
However, only last month Clunes ruled out a comeback for the sitcom, saying that at 47 he and Morrissey are now too old for the laddish antics, saying: ‘It may be seen as a bit seedy.’
He added: ‘It’s best if we are left thinking that it would be nice if we all got back together, but then not actually do it.’
Morrissey may have more of an interest in reviving the show than any of the other cast members – as it was reported this summer that he was £2.5million in debt after a string of bad investments in pubs and hotels.
The show ran from 1992 to 1999, and a planned comeback in 2002 never materialised after Caroline Quentin backed out.
