Garofalo to play UK
Single date in September
American stand-up Janeane Garofalo is to play a one-off date in London this autumn.The star of The Larry Sanders Show, West Wing and The Truth About Cats & Dogs will perform at London’s Bloomsbury Theatre on September 25.
A stand-up for more than 20 years, she has just completed a run at the Melbourne Comedy Festival, a rare booking outside North America. (Review)
Support will come from up-and-coming US act Al Madrigal, who was named best stand-up at the 2004 Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen.
Tickets, priced £29.50, go on sale tomorrow (Friday 17).
