His Big show, recorded at London’s O2 Arena, made number three in the overall chart, behind the movies Mamma Mia and Wall-E.
The next best-selling comic was Peter Kay’s collection of chat-show appearances, adverts and old stand-up appearances, Special Kay, making No 7 in the overall chart.
Michael McIntyre, who last week broke the record for the best-selling stand-up debut, slipped from No 1 to No 3 in the comedy chart.
The top five live comedy DVDs now stands as follows, with last week’s position in brackets:

Last week’s No 5, Russell Howard, has slipped off the list. Dara O’Briain and Jimmy Carr are bubbling under, with Frank Skinner, Sean Lock and the 2007 release by Lee Mack some way behind them.
