Russell Brand announces new dates

Russell Brand has announced a brief run of stand-up dates for next year.

The comic, who is focussing most of his attentions on breaking America on the back of hosting the MTV video awards and starring in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, has announced just 14 new gigs.

The run starts in Reading on January 18 and ends in Glasgow on February 14, and includes Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool and two nights in London.
