See 28 comedy previews in one show
Comedy fans will be able to sample a whole month’s worth of Edinburgh Fringe shows in one night – thanks to a West End showcase organised by Chortle.A total of 28 acts will offer brief previews of their full-length shows in the Fast Fringe extravaganza to be held in Central London’s Arts Theatre on July 7.
Stand-ups, character comedians, variety acts and musicians are all lined up for the quick-paced spectacular, providing a one-stop taster of the diversity of shows heading to the Scottish capital this August.
Tickets are priced just £10 – less than the price of most shows at Edinburgh, and working out at a bargain 36p per act.
Performers already confirmed for the include Jason John Whitehead, Nick Revell, James Dowdeswell, Markus Birdman, Wilson Dixon and Sarah Millican, with the full line-up to be announced soon.
Chortle will be filming the event, and posting one clip a day on the site from July 25 until the end of the Fringe.
