Hilton lands guest role with Earl
Paris Hilton is to appear in the US sitcom My Name Is Earl - as herself.The party-loving heiress will appear in a dream sequence, after Earl is knocked unconscious.
She will appear in an hour-long special, entitled I Won't Die With A Little Help From My Friends , to be broadcast in America on April 3. It will be the first new episode of Earl to air since the writers' strike ended.
Executive producer Greg Garcia said: ‘When we wrote the role of Paris Hilton in the script, we weren't exactly sure who to go with for the role. But after an exhausting search we finally settled on a relatively unknown actress by the name of Paris Hilton.’
