Dutch lesbians love David
'Open-minded' Walliams wins award
David Walliams has won an award for being the best male icon for lesbians.He was awarded the Lez Daddy award by Dutch group Lavender Productions, beating Russell Brand into second place.
A Lavender spokeswoman said: ‘David is a very open-minded individual and has been very supportive and accepting towards lesbian women in his work. He has even played a few lesbians himself.
‘He is the one who makes lesbians doubt themselves – not surprising when you consider how beautiful his legs look in a skirt.’
The award aims to celebrate male lesbian icons, in the same way Kylie Minogue or Madonna are icons to gay men.
