Richard Pryor's widow settles lawsuit

Richard Pryor's widow has settled her legal action over the release of 11 of his stand-up recordings.

Two months before his death in December 2005, Pryor sued Universal Music Group, claiming the company had put out the shows without his knowledge or permission.

After his death, his widow Jennifer took over the lawsuit.

Los Angeles Superior Court says the case has been taken off its books after it was told a settlement had been reached.

But terms of the settlement - over titles including Wizard of Comedy, I Ain't Lied Yet and Are You Serious? - have not been disclosed.
