A vote-winner
The 26-year-old BBC series about the inner workings of the Department for Administrative Affairs Minister topped a poll of politicians for a Channel 4 run-down programme.
Little Britain made the top ten – even though its only ‘political’ content is David Walliams’s infatuated Prime Ministerial aide Sebastian – while acclaimed satire The Thick Of It failed to make the cut.
The top ten were:
- Yes Minister
- Spitting Image
- Bremner, Bird and Fortune
- Drop the Dead Donkey
- Have I Got News For You
- Little Britain
- That Was The Week That Was
- The New Statesman
- Not the Nine O'Clock News
- Dead Ringers
The 30 Greatest Political Comedies goes out on More 4 at 9pm tonight.
