More dates for student awards
Three more heats have today been confirmed in Chortle’s annual hunt for the best new student comedian.The REVELS Student Comedy Awards will now be visiting Swansea on February 22; Nottingham on March 1 and Southampton on March 5. Visit the microsite for full details.
Each heat will feature a top circuit headliner and compere, plus the best in new student comedy talent.
There’s a £2,500 first prize up for grabs at the final, which will take place at the 2007 Edinburgh Fringe. Plus the runner-up will receive £500.
So far, almost 60 hopefuls have entered, but there’s still room for plenty more before entries close on November 31. Click here to take part.
In the mean time, watch out for REVELS at your university. Representatives have been handing out free samples of their unpredictable bite-sized chocolate at campuses across the country to promote this great competition.
