Oh, Brother...
The Tourette's sufferer reckons he’s what it takes to make audiences laugh – and thinks he could be as successful as his hero, Jim Carrey.
He said: ‘I'm looking into becoming a comedian. I am figuring out that you just have to be yourself when you're on stage. And people laugh at me anyway when I'm being myself.’
Bennett showed off his comedy gift in the Big Brother house with such antics as walking around with a flowerpot on his head. And he has one staple of stand-up material to fall back on: he really has just split up with his girlfriend, fellow Big Brother contestant Nikki Grahame.
He told the Daily Star: ‘I used to look up to Jim Carrey as a kid. I thought he could give me some kind of hope because to me, he is a bit Touretty. That's why I love him so much.’
Bennett, 24, has also dabbled in music, but recently dumped his band Daddy Fantastic to concentrate on a solo career.
