Baddiel and Skinner run extended
David Baddiel and Frank Skinner have been commissioned to make more World Cup for the Times Online.
The original order for ten episodes has now been extended to 15 after 400,000 subscribers signed up to hear the regular updates from Germany.
It is currently No 2 in the iTunes podcast chart, second only to Ricky Gervais’s record-breaking downloads.
The comics said: ‘We're very pleased to hear that an extra five have been drafted into our squad. If only Sven had the same facility.’
Times editor Robert Thomson added: ‘We are delighted that a phenomenal number of people have downloaded the Baddiel and Skinner podcasts.’
