Little Britain announces capital dates

The Little Britain tour has finally announced its London dates – but fans in the capital will have to wait almost a year for it to arrive.

The tour of the rest of the UK kicked off in Portsmouth last week, to a rapturous critical reception.

And there are still more than 100 dates to go before it winds up in Birmingham next May – but none in London.

Now the promoters have announced that Matt Lucas and David Walliams will have a three-week residency at the Hammersmith Apollo starting on October 3, 2006.

Over the 17 shows, they will play to almost 62,000 people if – as expected – the vast venue sells out.

Tickets will be priced from £23.50 to £27.50 on weekdays, and from £27.50 to £39.50 on Friday and Saturday nights
