Enfield flogs US burgers again

Harry Enfield has made another advertisement for Burger King in America.

Though he has not appeared on British TV for more than three years since the ill-fated BBC One sitcom Celeb, the comedian has found a lucrative sideline in selling fast food.

He first promoted the chain’s Angus burgers last year via a spoof lifestyle guru, Dr Angus.

The cheesy character has been revived for the new campaign, based around the hokum idea of ‘Power Sitting’ – taking time out to sit down. The commercials’ payoff line is ‘We’re all full of sit.’

The 2004 campaign marked Enfield’s first foray into America, where he is little known.
