Going ape

Addison's show transfers to Radio 4

Chris Addison's Edinburgh show The Ape That Got Lucky is transferring to Radio 4.

A new version of the show, a monologue about evolution, is to be recorded in London next month.

Addison has sporadically toured the show since it made its acclaimed debut at the 2002 Fringe.

This is the second Radio 4 comedy for Addison this year, after appearing in The Department alongside Andy Zaltzman and John Oliver.

For free tickets to the recording on March 9, visit the BBC ticket unit website.
