No Seaman and Garfunkel...

Goalie blocks telly spoof

David Seaman was furious after being caught out by a hidden camera TV show, and has blocked his clip from being shown.

The former England star was duped into believing TV executives were planning a reality show called Seaman and Garfunkel, in which he would be left to run his own Garfunkel's restaurant.

But he failed to see the funny side of The Pilot Show's joke after his family were caught on camera.

A source on the show, which starts on E4 on Monday, told The Mirror: "The problem was that he'd brought his wife Debbie with him, because she's now his agent, and their children.

"Even though we said we could cut his family out, he refused point blank to allow us to use the footage."

Other celebrities caught out by comedy actor Marc Wootton's increasingly bizarre range of programme ideas included Neil Hamilton, Frank Bruno and Toyah Willcox.
