Morris plans TV comeback

New comedy from Brass Eye star

Chris Morris is working on a new comedy project for Channel 4.

Brass Eye's enfant terrible has teamed up with Charlie Brooker, creator of the website TV Go Home, for the new show - details of which are being kept under wraps.

Work on a pilot edition, set in Shoreditch, is already under way - with high hopes for a series if Channel 4 executives are impressed.

Brooker said: "We've been doing test shoots for something best described as being about 'lethal addictions'."

The new programme is being made by Zeppotron, whose last project was The People's Book Of Records, and Talkback.

This will be Morris's first TV project since the controversial Brass Eye special on paedophilia was aired in 2001. In the meantime, he released the short film My Wrongs #8245-8249 & 117, now available on DVD.
