Foster's ice
Comic Toby Foster is heading to the Falkland Islands to entertain the troops.
The stand-up and BBC Radio Sheffield presenter said his move was "a desperate bid to stay as far from any fighting as possible".
Foster will be joined in the South Atlantic by comedy magician Danny Buckler and Pop Idol's Hayley Evetts.
They head off next Monday, and will perform four concerts for Combined Services Entertainment over the week.
Foster said: "I can't wait. Working with CSE is a great laugh, a real eye-opener."
It is not the first time that Toby has performed for the forces, having supported Liberty X in Bosnia on New Years Eve.
And the gigs come after Sunday's high-profile gig in aid of British troops in Iraq, which counted Al Murray, Paul Tonkinson and Mickey Hutton in the line-up.
CSE entertainment manager Angie Moore said the show, nroadcast from London by satellite, was "a hugely successful night which will mean a great deal to the troops".
The CSE are also organising a tour to Cyprus next month, featuring Hutton and Paul Zerdin.
