Ali G in da States
The American version of Da Ali G show is to launch next month.
Sacha Baron Cohen's new shows, in which he crosses the States exploring popular culture, will debut on the HBO network on February 21.
Six half-hour shows have been made, featuring Ali G as well as his other alter egos: naive Kazakhstani reporter Borat and Austrian fashionista Bruno.
The shows have been given a late-night slot, going out at 12.30am on Friday nights.
HBO has been responsible for some of the most acclaimed US shows in recent years, including The Sopranos, The Larry Sanders Show and Sex And The City.
American audiences will also soon get their first glimpse of The Office.
Ricky Gervais's acclaimed comedy is to launch on the BBC's cable service BBC America from January 23, going out at 10.20pm.
