You need material, girl
Singer, actress, model ... now Madonna is adding another string to her bow: comedy scriptwriter
The superstar is reportedly writing a movie comedy about her life in the limelight.
And she is also planning to direct the movie, which she hopes to have ready early next year.
According to today's Sun, Madonna said: "I have started writing my own thing, which I would like to direct. It's about a girl who's incredibly famous and all the insanity of her life.
"She lives in Hollywood and is well known but she's not well respected.
"It's about the absurdity of fame, the absurdity of people having preconceived notions about celebrities.
"It's based on a lot of characters and people that I know. I think it's hysterically funny."
Madonna's film career is littered with flops - her latest, Swept Away, directed by husband Guy Richie, has flopped with critics and audiences alike in the States.
