Growing empire...
The Jongleurs chain of comedy clubs has announced the opening of its next two venues, in Leeds and Reading.
These new additions to the empire will launch on December 13, bringing the growing empire's tally to 15 sites.
More than £5million has been spent fitting out the two venues.
Of the Reading site, Jongleurs brand manager Jon Fish said: "Jongleurs have been hugely successful all across the south and we are sure there will be a real demand in Reading.
"It's a flourishing, happening city and we are bringing something very different to its entertainment scene."
The first Jongleurs Comedy Club was opened in Battersea in 1983 by former drama teacher Maria Kempinska, who still books all the acts countrywide, with the first club outside London opening in Leicester in 1997.
These new venues will open with Christmas parties.
The Leeds venue is at The Cube in Albion Street, while the Reading site is at the former Broadwalk pub on Friar Street.
Further Jongleurs clubs are planned in Bristol and Swindon.
