Ali gets high in Holland

Film tops Dutch box office

Ali G's film has stormed its way to the top of the Dutch box office chart.

The Netherlands was the first country outside the UK to screen Indahouse and it proved an instant hit.

It took more than £260,000 in its first four days - the biggest opening in Holland since Ocean's Eleven in January - outperforming Hollywood hits such as The Scorpion King and Ice Age.

The film's international release schedule continues in July with Cyprus and South Africa, ScreenDaily.com reports.

But the big test will come in August, when it has its US premiere.

Ali G Indahouse has already grossed more than £10.2million in the UK alone.
