Skinner 'admits Brits disaster'

Frank Skinner has apparently admitted that he was rubbish hosting this year's Brit Awards.

He sent a series of text messages to co-host Zoe Ball, apologising for his performance, The Mirror claims today.

It quotes an unnamed source saying: "Despite all the bravado, Frank was gutted by how the night turned out.

"He'd been really geared up for the show, but no matter how hard he tried, the audience didn't warm to him.

"Frank thought he'd be able to pull it off, which is why he commanded such a huge fee (£50,000). But we all saw how bad he was.

"I think he knows they won't be inviting him back in a hurry."
