Dom plans movie project

Trigger Happy TV's Dom Joly is to make a film in the new year.

And he described the movie as a cross between Airplane and Something About Mary.

He told Radio 1: "I think it's a bit naff for people in telly to think they can go straight into movies because I think it's a very different thing.

"We thought about it and thought about the kind of film that doesn't get made in England."

Joly originally said he would not shoot any more Trigger Happy TV shows, although he has been softening his stance recently.

He is also working on a new take on the chat show.
