Dangerfield out of hospital
Comic recovers from heart attack
Rodney Dangerfield has left hospital after his mild heart attack last week.
Medical tests on Monday night showed the attack was caused by the collapse of a small artery, a problem that can be corrected without surgery.
A hospital spokesman said: "The remedy for that is just a change in his medication, and his doctor says he'll be coming out of this fine."
Dangerfield was taken to hospital at the Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Beverly Hills last Thursday - his 80th birthday and Thanksgiving.
The previous night Jay Leno's The Tonight Show paid a special tribute to the comic's 60-year career.
Dangerfield is working on his autobiography It's Not Easy Being Me, due out next year.
