Clips from comedians' sets

 Here are extracts from the sets of the comedians who took part in the Chortle Hotshots showcase in Manchester on Sunday night. They are all taking their debut shows to the Edinburgh Fringe this August, so here’s a teaser of what to expect from them all.

Alex Stringer was selected as our Hotshot from this showcase and will receive help with her show.

The second recipient of a bursary will be picked at another showcase at the Monkey Barrel in Edinburgh on Wednesday (Tickets available here)
