The post-Fringe jetlag is going to be brutal

Cerys Bradley on the best and worst of Edinburgh

Cerys Bradley is at the Edinburgh Fringe with her show Not Overthinking Things 2019 having its last performance at Laughing Horse at Bar 50 at 3.30pm tomorrow. Here she shares what she can't get enough of at the festival, her most embarrassing Edinburgh experience and the worst thing about the Fringe. Apart from the cost of accommodation, obviously…

Edinburgh binge

Seeing people that I basically only see at Fringe, going to see a show with them and staying up until 3am talking about how good it was.

Edinburgh cringe

I had to perform my show to my dad, his partner and four kids who potentially would have enjoyed the show if a middle-aged man hadn’t heckled all the way through. Afterwards, he took me out for dinner and gave me notes.

Edinburgh whinge

The post-Fringe jetlag. Last year, I had an appointment at 10am the day after I got back and I slept through all my alarms. This year I get home on the 28th and start a new job on the 29th and it’s going to be brutal.
