Mackenzie Crook’s charming comedy Detectorists made an acclaimed comeback at Christmas with hugely acclaimed movie-length special.

Now that 90-minute story has been released on DVD – as well as a complete collection of every episode and all the specials, including the new one.

And to mark today’s release on Acorn Media International, we have three copies of the box set, which has an rrp of £49.99, to give away.

Mackenzie Crook and Toby Jones play Andy and Lance, two eager detectorists who share a dream of finding a buried treasure that will change their lives, in a heart-warming portrayal of male friendship and metal-detecting. Over the course of three uplifting series, we follow the lives, loves and discoveries as two men searching for the past, and finding connections and laughs along the way.

The Detectorists Movie Special – released on DVD at £19.99  – finds the comedic duo reunited for one final hurrah, full of light drama, gentle wit, whimsical humour and beautiful scenery.
