Win Stewart Lee's new book and gig tickets
Stewart Lee's new book, Content Provider is out this week – and we have six copies to give away, plus six pairs of tickets to see his forthcoming tour of the same name.
The book is a collection of the newspaper columns he has written over the past five years, most of them for the Observer whenever David Mitchell has been on holiday.
Lee adds introductions to many of the pieces, and includes some of the below-the-line comments from the internet – as well as explaining his grapples with what is expected of a regular newspaper columnist, as he also explains here.
Publisher Faber & Faber, which is releasing the book on Friday priced £14.99, describes Lee's attempts to understand modern Britain, and his own place in it, as 'funny, grumpy, provocative, confusing and brilliant'.
To stand a chance of winning a copy of Content Provider, or a pair of tickets to his autumn tour, just answer the following question by 5pm on August 15 after which we choose the winners from all correct answers received. Usual terms and conditions apply.
Good luck!
There shows available are in Watford on November 1, Liverpool on November 2, Cambridge on November 3, Cardiff on November 4, Newcastle on November 6 and London's Leicester Square Theatre on November 15.
