Win tickets to book festival gala
Chortle's comedy book festival kicks off in Ealing, West London, on Friday – with headline stars including Jack Whitehall, Johnny Vegas, Al Murray, Count Arthur Strong and Stewart Francis.
And to mark the launch, we have two pairs of tickets to give away to the opening stand-up gala, featuring local-girl-done-good Shappi Khorsandi and king of the internet, Richard Herring.
The night is compered but the man who wrote the book on stand-up – literally, as Logan Muttay's guide Be A Great Stand-Up is a beginners' bible.
The bill is completed by Henry Paker, as seen on Russell Howard's Good News, Seann Walsh World and Edinburgh and Beyond and Catie Wilkins, who Three Weeks said possessed 'a gauche charm and sharp and circuitous wit'.
All the acts are published authors, reflecting the them of the week- which covers everything from kids' events, literary parodies, tributes to comedians gone by, the revival of Robin Ince's Bad Book Club, shows about performing and writing comedy, Simon Singh on the maths behind the Simpsons and Rob Newman and Mark Watson reading tom their latest books.

To stand a chance of winning a ticket for Friday's gala, which starts at 8pm, answer the following question by midday on Friday, when we will randomly select the winner from all correct answers received. Usual terms and conditions apply.
Good luck!
