Comics rally round their colleague after brain surgery
Comedians including Andy Parsons, Simon Evans and Robin Ince are to stage a fundraiser for a fellow stand-up who suffered a brain aneurysm.
Mark Coxton, who performs on the circuit as Windsor was struck with the swelling blood vessel in February.
He is now recovering from his emergency brain surgery, but is still unable to work, so fellow comics have rallied round to ease his financial fears. Already almost £4,000 has been raised via GoFundMe.
The newly announced fundraiser, at the Dorking Halls in South London on April 29, also features Zoe Lyons, Nathan Caton, Angela Barnes, Christian Reilly, Steve Best, Russell Hicks and host Dan Evans. Tickets are available here.
