Tom Bell's comedy career began at the Cambridge Footlights, performing in their 2002 show alongside Ed Weeks, with whom he subsequently formed the double act Tommy  And The Weeks, and performed at three Edinburgh Fringes.

As a solo act he was part of the Comedy Zone showcase at the 2004  Fringe, and presented several Fringe shows.

On TV he has appeared in BBC2's children's show Dick And Dom's Funny Business, and the 2011 Channel 4 pilot Anna & Katy , with Anna Crilley and Katy Wix.
