Tom Wrigglesworth's Hang-Ups to return
Tom Wrigglesworth’s Hang-Ups is to return to Radio 4 after three years.
The comic is to record four new episodes of the comedy, based on weekly phone calls he makes back to his parents.
In the time since the last programme, Wrigglesworth has become the father of twin girls – Astrid and Mabel – a real-life event that will also feature in the show.
And that is not the only development, according to the BBC, which says: ‘Dad has some new plans for world domination, Mum is on board with almost none of these schemes and Granny has some parenting tips from the 1930s.’
Kate Anthony and Paul Cople played his parents in the last series, with Elizabeth Bennett as his granny.
The new episodes are being recorded in front of a studio audience at the BBC Radio Theatre in Broadcasting House, Central London, on May 18 and 29. Click here to apply for free tickets.
