Suzi Ruffell writes her memoirs
Suzi Ruffell has written a memoir about coping with anxiety.
Am I Having Fun Now? is the comedian’s first book, and will be published in June next year.
Publisher Pan Macmillan describes it as a ‘brutally honest, funny, and often moving memoir’ that is ‘riveting, relatable and revealing’ as Ruffell makes observations on feminism, being working class in comedy, LGBTQ+ equality and the up- and downsides of ambition
The title, first reported by British Comedy Guide, also features life advice from the likes of authors Elizabeth Day, Dolly Alderton, Charlene Douglas, and Laura Bates, plus psychologist Dr Kirren Schnack.
The blurb adds: 'From masking anxiety with musical theatre and struggling to find her groove at school, on stage, and in her love life, to (eventually) coming out, falling in love, and becoming a parent, Suzi lays her life bare with trademark wit, verve and style.’
Am I Having Fun Now? can be ordered now from Waterstones, priced £20
