Date of birth: 16-05-1964In her Oxford student days in the 1980s – where she read English as St Hugh's College – Rebecca Front became the first female president. She gained prominence through her work with Stewart Lee and Richard Herring on radio shows such as Lionel Nimrod's Inexplicable World then with a wider team for On the Hour, its television follow-up The Day Today and then Knowing Me, Knowing You... with Alan Partridge. One of her most prominent role was as Nicola Murray in The Thick of It for which she won the 2010 Bafta TV Award for best female comedy performance. Her other notable television credits include Time Gentlemen Please, Big Train and Nighty Night as well as dramatic roles in the likes of Lewis and Death Comes to Pemberley.
