Sketch group Newsrevue is celebrating its 21st birthday in London and Edinburgh.

Former members of the group include Rory Bremner, Stephen Frost, Josie Lawrence, Bill Bailey, Rob Newman and Michelle Collins.

The show, which started out at Edinburgh's Assembly Rooms in 1981, now takes place at least three times a week in London's Canal Café Theatre.

And it returns to the festival at the C venue from Wednesday.

In celebration of the birthday on August 18, the Canal Café will present the best of this year's cast in a new run of topical sketches.
