Mike Landers – Original Review
Note: This review is from 2004
Pony-tailed Mike Landers adopts the gagsmith’s approach, producing a long parade of punny one-liners.
Not all are well-received, probably because not all are good – the hit-miss see-saw tipping too often in the wrong direction, especially when over-familiar topics where employed.
Some of his lines are certainly worth hearing, but unfortunately, his pared-down back-to-basics approach doesn’t give him any place to hide. And with two dodgy jokes to every good one, he could do with the cover.
