The semi-finalists have been named in the competition billed as Britain's biggest comedy talent hunt.
The Daily Telegraph Open Mic award is hosting six more heats to whittle the contestants down to the finalists who will battle it out at the Edinburgh Festival.
Up for grabs is £2,000, plus the chance to appear at the Melbourne and Montreal comedy festivals.
