Jordan Brookes releases a very special special

Seven sets in one from the award-winning comic

comedyHigh-concept comedian Jordan Brookes has released a stand-up special in the most Jordan Brookes way possible.

The show comprises seven 20-minute sets from the Edinburgh Comedy Award-winninf comedy, all running concurrently – so rendering the video almost entirely unwatchable.

But there is some method to his madness, as he explains: ‘In November 2024 I performed at Monkey Barrel Comedy Club in Edinburgh. It's a busy club so they run several shows a night. I ended up performing roughly the same set seven times, in three days, to seven different audiences, in the same room, in the same clothes. By the final performance I was delirious…’

He added: ‘I present this unedited, without any flair or flashiness that would detract from the experience. I hope you enjoy.’

Brooks also has a more conventional stand-up special – at least by his standards – available on YouTube. Body Of Work was nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Award in 2017 – two years before he won it – and was filmed by NextUp.
