Four comics make their Mock The Week debuts
Sarah Keyworth, Jen Brister, Jonny Pelham and Emily Lloyd-Saini are to make their debuts on Mock The Week this series, it has been announced.
The comics have been named as the topical panel show returns for the second half of its 20th series tomorrow.
Ria Lina, Maisie Adam, Alasdair Beckett-King and Ivo Graham will be joining host Dara O Briain and mainstay Hugh Dennis in that opening episode, which airs on BBC Two at 10pm.
Keyworth – who won Chortle’s best newcomer award in 2019 and is pictured above – makes her debut next week, alongside regulars Ed Byrne, Glenn Moore and Ahir Shah.
The rest of the line-ups – though subject to change – are:
November 25: Dara & Hugh, Maisie Adam, Angela Barnes, Jen Brister, Rhys James, Ahir Shah
December 2: Dara & Hugh, Angela Barnes, Ed Byrne, Laura Lexx, Jonny Pelham, Ahir Shah
December 9: Dara & Hugh, Maisie Adam, Rhys James, Milton Jones, Emily Lloyd-Saini, Glenn Moore
Brister is the author of The Other Mother and is regular guest on podcasts like The Guilty Feminist and Drunk Women Solving Crime; Pelham was born with popliteal pterygium syndrome and his comedy is heavily informed by his experiences with the health service and growing up feeling like an outsider; while Lloyd-Saini hosts the Still Legit podcast and has performed at BBC’s Big Asian Comedy Night and Rob Delaney’s Stand Up Central.
Also returning across the seven episodes are Rhys James, Milton Jones, Angela Barnes and Laura Lexx.
