Welsh topical comedy show What Just Happened? is coming to TV after two series on the radio.
Host Robin Morgan and resident panellist Kiri Pritchard-McLean will be looking back at the events of 2024 in the one-off special for BBC One Wales.
Morgan said: ‘I’m absolutely thrilled! The whole What Just Happened? team are phenomenal and I’m so proud we get to bring it to telly just as the medium is being replaced by TikTok.’
The comic created the format with Henry Widdicombe of the Little Wander production company, who said: ‘It’s a fitting way to end an award-winning year for What Just Happened? and we can’t wait to bring it back to TV screens.’
The programme, which normally airs on BBC Radio Wales, won the audio comedy category of the Celtic Media Festival held in Cardiff this summer.
Produced by Jo Southerd, the TV special will be tapes on December 11 and broadcast over the Christmas period. Free tickets to the recording in Cardiff are available here.
