Eric Lalor came into comedy as part of the 2006 RTE TV show Des Bishop’s Joy In The Hood, encouraging the residents of Ballymun in Dublin to take up comedy. In his first year of stand-up, he won the Comedy Cellar and Capital Comedy Club’s Best Newcomer Award.
In 2008, he performed his first solo show, The Lalorpalooza Show, and is now a regular TV warm-up act.
