BBC Radio Wales has ordered a Christmas special of its satirical comedy panel show What Just Happened?

Hosted by Robin Morgan and Kiri Pritchard-McLean, the show will air on New Year’s Eve.

Morgan – who co-created the series with producer Henry Widdicombe  – says: ‘I can’t wait to come back for an end-of-year special to unearth what happened in Wales and the world in 2023. I’m also thrilled to get our brilliant team back together - it makes our matching tattoos worth every penny."’

Pritchard-McLean added: ‘I’m delighted What Just Happened? Is back for a bumper special, if only so I can make sense of what has happened this past year. 

‘It will be a delight to talk about the big topics with top class comedians and journalists in front of a brilliant live audience in Cardiff. Let’s all just promise to avoid talking about the 20mph speed limit, yeah?’

The show – made by Little Wander –  will be recorded at the Chapter Arts Centre in Cardiff on December 13 and free tickets are available now.
