Adam Hills immortalised on a stamp
Adam Hills has been immortalised on an Australian stamp.
The Last Leg Host is one of four comedians to feature in the annual ‘Australian Post Legends’ series released today.
He appears alongside Kath & Kim’s Magda Szubanski; Garry McDonald, best known for his alter-ego Norman Gunston, and Noeline Brown, a regular on Australian screens in the 1970s and 1980s.
Hills said that he was ‘so chuffed to be honoured alongside three of my comedy heroes’.
If you’ve ever wanted to lick the back of my head, here’s your chance. I’m so genuinely chuffed to be honoured alongside some of my Comedy Heroes as a Leg-End. https://t.co/EehZdz00ut

Nicole Sheffield, from Australia Post, said the quartet: ‘have entertained and delighted us for decades, not only with their side-splitting performances but also through the characters and programs they have created.
‘I recall many of the shows with such fondness and, given the current climate, plan to introduce them to my children soon so I can enjoy a good laugh again.
‘These performers hold a very special place in the hearts of many Australians, and we’re excited to celebrate their achievements with this new stamp release.
Now in its 24th year, the Australia Post Legends Award celebrates living Australians who have made a significant contribution to the nation.
Past stamps have honoured the likes of Sir Donald Bradman, Barry Humphries, Cate Blanchett and Rod Laver.
All the stamps are $1.10 – the cost of posting a standard letter – and available here.
