And he has the chance to make it a triple tomorrow as he is one of the finalists in the Chortle Student Comedy Award.
Gleadow’s first gig was above a pub in Hull. ‘I had a fun gig and instantly got the bug,’ he said last month. ‘I did magic till I was 10 then switched to comedy five years ago. I definitely want a career in comedy, either acting, presenting anything in the creative arts.’
Gleadow previously won International Young Magician in 2013, Hilarity Bites New Comedian Of The Year in 2014 and Hull Comedian Of The Year in 2016.
The breakthrough performer at the Amused Moose competition was Rob Oldham, a former e Cambridge Footlights performer who already has a solo show at the Fringe, entitled Blink.
For his prize, Gleadow will appear in a showcase at the Soho Theatre in London in October.
