Rob Delaney has joined the cast for Netflix’s sequel to the Bank Of Dave film.
The follow-up is set two years after the original, which charted how self-made millionaire Dave Fishwick set up a community bank in Burnley, England.
Rory Kinnear reprises his starring role in the new movie, which follows Fishwick as he attempts to take on payday loan companies.
It is not known what role comedian and Catastrophe co-creator Delaney will play.
Also joining the cast are Amit Shah – who played Rishi Sunak in The Windsors last year – Dan Fogler, who appeared in the Fantastic Beasts series, and Detectorists’ regular Pearce Quigley.
Filming is now under way in Burnley and Leeds.
Netflix has also announced Charlie Brooker’s Black Mirror will return in 2025 with six new episodes, including a sequel to the sci-fi adventure USS Callister.
And Steve Pemberton has joined the cast of the streamer’s Missing You, a drama about a police officer who spots the profile of her ex-fiancé on a dating app – 11 years after he disappeared. The show also stars Rosalind Eleazar, Richard Armitage, Jessica Plummer, Paul Kaye, Samantha Spiro, Lisa Faulkner and Mary Malone.
