Funny and good company, not at all shouty, contrary to some of the comments I find here

I've gigged with Chris twice recently and both times I've been extremely impressed by his ability as a compere. He takes control, raises the energy level and gets the audience really up-for-it, as well as producing excellent ad-libs, effortlessly bantering with and bouncing off the crowd. He can do the job and he's really reliable in this respect - both times it turned out he was completely knackered before he went onstage yet he made it look effortless. Promoters, book this man.

Chris Brooker is possibly the best MC I've seen. He's worked wonders at Three Minute Warning in Crewe and always engages his audience and has good presence along with excellent material. Why is he not pro?
