Jane Wickline joins Saturday Night Live's Weekend Update

Saturday Night Live newcomer Jane Wickline made a splash on Weekend Update last night, with a comedy song about partying.

It came in response to a news story which found that 71 per cent of Gen Z has cut back on going out.

But in her song, the comic described how she overstayed her welcome at a house party, oblivious to every clue it's all over.

Elsewhere in the segment, Michael Jost and  Michael Che joked about the forthcoming presidential election, with Joht joking: 'In only 30 days, this whole nightmare will be nowhere close to over.'
